Fun: This is a game first and foremost. The idea is that even if it doesn’t go as planned or in your favor, it should be fun. We understand that not all guests may feel this way all the time, but it is our job to provide an environment that encourages players to have fun.

Immersion: An immersive experience is part of the charm of an FFXIV Venue. In this spirit, treating the venue like you would an actual real-life café by not blocking walkways, walking when seating and serving, ensuring OOC comments are in brackets of some sort, and keeping some talk to tell/party is important.

Community: Players require healthy communities in order to get the most out of their venue experience. The Cat-fe seeks to foster community in three ways. First, by encouraging players to come and participate in the in-venue story. Second, by participating in our community through supporting staff and customers at other venues. Lastly, by providing a robust discord where people can further develop their stories and character relationships, as well as interpersonal relationships to foster healthy communication between the players.

Safety: Safe places to play are important to all players. Through our rules and enforcement, we strive to keep our community safe. We will take steps to keep the community safe, up to and including removing people who threaten the safety of our community.

Integrity: We strive to treat all guests fairly, and verify every accusation as needed. We will be honest in our dealings with the community and will not hesitate to take responsibility for our actions as the venue and as staff when something is our fault.

We require players to be 18+ but keep all explicit content and SPOILERS to /tell and /party.
- We welcome OCs as young as 16 without a "parent", but they will not be allowed to book dates with our character actors. We also will perma-ban anyone we find out is engaging in adult content with a minor character. Think of us like an Eorzean Bennihana.

No minions. They take up guest slots and add visual clutter to our already intimate venue.

Tables are for Eating.
- If you choose to be seated at a table, you are expected to order. There is also a Bathroom for short AFKs for diners upstairs.
- If you are only looking to relax & participate in the group RP or observe a date, you are welcome to sit in the ballroom upstairs.
- If you want to AFK, the ballroom, the Atrium in FC Room 1, and the Yard are the best places for that.

Warriors of Light - Most venues treat all players as Non-WoL for plot purposes. At Panth's Cat-fe, we acknowledge all guests as Warriors of Light and fellow Scions. You're all capable of role-playing responsibly in a way that allows all of your canons to interact positively within the Cat-fe-verse.

Character Actors must be booked to guarantee RP. If you want to guarantee you get to RP with a particular character/actor, please make sure to book in advance, as most of our actors do not accept on-the-spot bookings. Characters that are not booked have no obligation to be in the venue, and if they arrive, they do so on their own time and because they enjoy visiting just like you. DO NOT SHOW UP AND LURK JUST IN HOPES OF FREE RP WITH ONE OF OUR CHARACTER ACTORS, THEY ARE STILL STAFF.

Consent is King! No is no, from both staff and other customers. If someone is pressuring you into RP or inappropriate things when you have clearly told them no, alert a member of staff IMMEDIATELY as we do not abide such behavior in the Cat-fe. This includes wheedling and "aw, please" behavior. That is Coersion and just as unacceptable as ouright ignoring a no. This goes double for characters that are canonically underage. YOU WILL CATCH A VENUE BAN FOR THIS!
